Cuban media finds voice

AN OFFICIAL Cuban newspaper has questioned government claims of a 2 per
cent unemployment rate, in the latest challenge to government rhetoric.
"The figures never reflect reality," said Rebel Youth. Raul Castro, who
took over duties from his ailing brother Fidel Castro, has urged the
media to be more critical.
