Sentencing set for fishermen

HAVANA, Cuba - October 31 (Richard Roselló / www.cubanet.org) - Fifteen
fishermen accused of pilfering government property will be sentenced by
the Havana provincial tribunal on November 7.

The accused were tried October 24 in a local theater in Batabanó under
heavy security. Five of them are fishing boat masters, 9 who were
accused of receiving stolen property, namely lobsters, and one accused
of covering up. They are expected to be sentenced to between 2 and 3 years.
