Why Cubans risk their lives
Re the United States wet-foot/dry-foot policies: How many people must
die before a change is made?
People flee Cuba for freedom, not economics. And after a while,
desperation sets in. There are no brick walls or wire fences around the
island, just 90 miles of deep blue water -- a huge graveyard.
Dying for freedom is nothing new. But dying because of politics and
failed policies is a shame and a waste or life.
