Police seize two sacks of oranges destined for a fruit stand

HAVANA, February 17 (Richard Roselló / www.cubanet.org) - Highway patrol
officers stopped and boarded a bus and seized two sacks of oranges from
two brothers who said they had bought them in order to make juice for
their fruit stand in Havana.

Despite their protests, the pair was put in the officers' cruiser along
with the oranges and taken to a police station.

According to witnesses, the officers had thought the oranges had been
stolen.

The incident occurred on the route of a bus traveling from Bauta to Havana.
