Will the real Fidel Castro please stand up.

Surprising photos of the 82-year-old Cuban leader meeting with a U.S.
congressional delegation just three weeks ago show him wearing both
Cuban and American flag pins, prompting speculation of a thaw in
relations between the two countries.

President Obama has lifted limits on family visits to Cuba imposed by
the Bush administration and has declared he wants a new beginning with
the Communist regime.

But Castro sent a far different signal the other day, saying the U.S.
wants Cuba to act like a slave willing to "accept again the whip and the
yoke."

Writing in a column published on the Internet, he warned "the adversary
should never be under the illusion that Cuba will surrender."
