HAVANA, Cuba -February 21 (José Antonio Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad /

www.cubanet.org) - Someone broke into the CUPEX hard-currency store and
took 11 tires that were on display. The tires are valued at about 120
dollars each.

The thieves broke in through a rear wall of the building.

Nine days ago, at the same store, someone took a number of tires and
umbrellas.

After that incident, police apprehended several youths with criminal
records and held them for three days. This time around, the youths were
called in to the police station for conversations. There have been no
arrests on either incident.
