Cuba and the United Arab Emirates have entered into an agreement which
will enable the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation between the
two nations, especially in fields of trade as well as investment.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan had met the
Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Ruiz in Havana on Saturday.
According to the UAE Foreign Minister, his visit to Havana will pave the
way for the developing of friendship and joint cooperation between the
United Arab Emirtaes and Cuba.
The two countries had entered into a memorandum of understanding on
Saturday which is related to the political consultations between the
foreign ministries of the two nations. The MoU also calls for an
agreement which will ensure the strengthening of the bilateral
cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, transport and investment.
