Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson is looking for ways to ship
potatoes to Cuba without having them spoil.
Johnson and representatives from the potato industry are in Cuba this
week to meet with food import officials there.
It's Johnson's sixth trip to Cuba. He says North Dakota has sold about
30 (m) million-dollars worth of goods to the country since 2001. Most of
the sales have involved peas and beans.
Johnson says the current mission will succeed if he can find a way to
get potatoes to Cuba in good shape
