Government official runs down dissidents with his car

MATANZAS, Cuba, October 26 (Oscar Sánchez Madan / www.cubanet.org) -
Nelson Suárez, an official of a government agricultural agency, ran down
three dissidents in his car, according to Juan Francisco Sigler Amaya, a
member of the Alternative Option Independence Movement.

Sigler Amaya said movement members Yoheni Junco Sardiñas, Jesús Galván
Fernández and Yovany Junco Sardiñas were standing on a sidewalk talking
on October 10 when Suárez approached in his Lada car, forcing them to
jump out of the way to avoid being hit.

"That criminal terrorist act is part of the repressive campaign of the
dictatorship against internal dissidence," Sigler Amaya said.
